My career began in mechanical engineering, where I developed a strong grounding in how real assets are designed, built, and operated. That foundation led me to found Roshan Energy Solutions, where I worked on developing a gasification-based solution to convert non-recyclable plastic and organic waste into renewable natural gas.
I then joined Deepwell Corporation, working on large-scale infrastructure and energy projects across Pakistan. Starting as a design engineer and eventually rising to a director role, I led cross-functional teams spanning engineering, procurement, finance, and stakeholders in the public sector. Managing complex energy and infrastructure projects reinforced a core belief that has shaped my career since: durable value is created at the intersection of technical and financial feasibility. To deepen my ability to evaluate that intersection from an investor’s perspective, I pursued a Master’s in Financial Management.
That transition opened the door to working closely with search funds and private equity firms, where I have advised on more than $100 million of transactions across screening, diligence, valuation, and capital structuring. Beyond deal execution, I have supported PE firms on post-close strategy—helping translate investment theses into operating plans, portfolio optimization frameworks, and measurable value-creation initiatives.
In parallel, I have worked extensively in the venture ecosystem. I have been involved in more than $15 million of fundraising across Seed through Series C, and have supported VC firms such as Team Ignite Ventures on investment analysis, diligence, and portfolio management. This exposure sharpened my understanding of how capital allocation, governance, and operating cadence differ across stages, and where investors most often misprice risk.
